Dear All,
We are writing to you with further details about the exciting new educational initiative from EMEUNET and the EULAR School of Rheumatology our online Twitter Journal Club! We would like to invite you and your colleagues to join us for this tomorrow on the 26th of September 2018 at 8:30pm GMT / 9:30pm CET (duration 1 hour)
The selected article that will be discussed in the Journal Club was published in Rheumatology:
“The association of obesity with disease activity, functional ability and quality of life in early rheumatoid arthritis: data from the Early Rheumatoid Arthritis Study/Early Rheumatoid Arthritis Network UK prospective cohorts",
It is our great pleasure to announce that first author Dr. Elena Nikiphorou (@ElenaNikiUK) will be discussing this paper with us
The paper can be found here
We also invite you to have a look at our recently published newsletter.
issue which includes a press review of rheumatology literature including the article selected by the EULAR faculty for our upcoming Journal Club and the “EMEUNET paper of the month”.
Some practicalities, if you are unsure how a JC on Twitter can be facilitated:
To make your discussion during our Journal Club easier and more focused we recommend using Tchat or tweetchat to follow the course of the JC. Both tools allow you to be more selective, following only one hashtag. To follow the discussion most conveniently select #EULARJC to follow throughout. We recommend you include #EULARJC in every tweet to make sure it reaches us. When addressing questions to specific participants use their handle (@EMEUNET for example) additionally to the hashtag.
All up to date information about the Journal Club can be found in the dedicated section of the EMEUNET website .
Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @EULAR_JC, @EMEUNET and @eular_org
Best wishes
Your EULAR-EMEUNET Journal Club Team
